And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader.

And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:
| 2 Y dijo David a toda la asamblea de Israel: Si os parece bien y si es la voluntad de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos a todas partes por nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y por los sacerdotes y levitas que están con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos, para que se reúnan con nosotros; | 2 und sprach zu der ganzen Gemeinde Israel: Gefällt es euch und ist's dem HERRN, unserm Gott, angenehm, so laßt uns hinschicken zu unsern Brüdern in allen Landen Israels, dazu auch zu den Priestern und Leviten in ihren Wohnstätten, daß sie sich bei uns versammeln. |

And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.
| 3 y traigamos el arca de nuestro Dios a nosotros, porque desde el tiempo de Saúl no hemos hecho caso de ella. | 3 Und laßt uns die Lade unseres Gottes wieder zu uns holen; denn zu Sauls Zeiten fragten wir nicht nach ihr. |

And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.
| 4 Y dijo toda la asamblea que se hiciese así, porque la cosa parecía bien a todo el pueblo. | 4 Da sprach die ganze Gemeinde, man solle das tun; denn es gefiel allem Volk gut. |

So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath-jearim.
| 5 Entonces David reunió a todo Israel, desde Sihor de Egipto hasta la entrada de Hamat, para que trajesen el arca de Dios de Quiriat-jearim. | 5 So versammelte David ganz Israel, vom Schihor Ägyptens an bis dorthin, wo es nach Hamat geht, um die Lade Gottes von Kirjat-Jearim zu holen. |

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.
| 6 Y subió David con todo Israel a Baala de Quiriat-jearim, que está en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios, que mora entre los querubines, sobre la cual su nombre es invocado. | 6 Und David zog hin mit ganz Israel nach Baala, das ist Kirjat-Jearim, das in Juda liegt, um von da heraufzubringen die Lade Gottes, des HERRN, der über den Cherubim thront, wo sein Name angerufen wird. |

And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart.
| 7 Y llevaron el arca de Dios de la casa de Abinadab en un carro nuevo; y Uza y Ahío guiaban el carro. | 7 Und sie ließen die Lade Gottes auf einem neuen Wagen aus dem Hause Abinadabs fahren. Usa aber und sein Bruder lenkten den Wagen. |

And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.
| 8 Y David y todo Israel se regocijaban delante de Dios con todas sus fuerzas, con cánticos, arpas, salterios, tamboriles, címbalos y trompetas. | 8 David aber und ganz Israel tanzten mit aller Macht vor Gott her, mit Liedern, mit Harfen, mit Psaltern, mit Pauken, mit Zimbeln und mit Trompeten. |

And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.
| 9 Pero cuando llegaron a la era de Quidón, Uza extendió su mano al arca para sostenerla, porque los bueyes tropezaban. | 9 Als sie aber zur Tenne Kidons kamen, streckte Usa seine Hand aus, um die Lade zu halten; denn die Rinder glitten aus. |

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.
| 10 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uza, y lo hirió, porque había extendido su mano al arca; y murió allí delante de Dios. | 10 Da entbrannte der Grimm des HERRN über Usa, und er schlug ihn, weil er seine Hand nach der Lade ausgestreckt hatte, so daß er dort starb vor Gott. |

And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perez-uzza to this day.
| 11 Y David tuvo pesar, porque Jehová había quebrantado a Uza; por lo que llamó aquel lugar Pérez-uza, hasta hoy. | 11 Da ergrimmte David, daß der HERR den Usa so wegriß, und man nannte die Stätte "Perez-Usa"* bis auf diesen Tag. *d. . Wegreißen Usas. |

And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?
| 12 Y David temió a Dios aquel día, y dijo: ¿Cómo he de traer a mi casa el arca de Dios? | 12 Und an jenem Tage fürchtete sich David vor Gott und sprach: Wie darf ich da noch die Lade Gottes zu mir bringen? |

So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
| 13 Y no trajo David el arca a su casa en la ciudad de David, sino que la llevó a casa de Obed-edom geteo. | 13 Darum ließ er die Lade Gottes nicht zu sich bringen in die Stadt Davids, sondern ließ sie hinbringen ins Haus Obed-Edoms, des Gatiters. |

And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that he had. | 14 Y el arca de Dios estuvo con la familia de Obed-edom, en su casa, tres meses; y bendijo Jehová la casa de Obed-edom, y todo lo que tenía. | 14 So blieb die Lade Gottes bei Obed- Edom in seinem Hause drei Monate. Und der HERR segnete das Haus Obed-Edoms und alles, was er hatte. |
